What are you doing with the family this hot weekend? July 21-23

The heat is on. Keep that in mind as you are heading out this weekend for some family fun. Expect to see very little (probably no) rain and temperatures in the 100, 101 range. It will feel much hotter because that’s how we roll in Austin in July.

Bring sunscreen, water and bug spray with you if you are headed outside.

Friday

Kids Helping Kids Hope Pack Drive. Carrying Hope, a local nonprofit that provides new items to children entering the foster care system, hosts this event with snow cones from Kona Ice, a family workout from Stroller Strides, face painting, balloon animals, games and more. Each person who creates and drops off a Hope Pack backpack filled with items kids in foster care need will receive a free family pass to the Thinkery (while supplies last) and be entered into a raffle.
